Welcome to our "Art"mosphere
Art I is a High School level introduction class to art. In this class students learn a variety of mediums through usage of pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, clay, and ink. Not only do Art I students learn how to manipulate art mediums they learn various art styles and art movements that span through art history. Students learn and discuss various artists and often use their work as inspiration for their own art.

Self-Portrait SilhouetteThis project incorporated line, shape, and space. Students were asked to express themselves through usage of symbols recorded within the space of their own silhouette.
Picasso Portrats Students were asked to create a self portraits inspired by Picasso's work.
GraffitiStudents for this project studied various types of line and incorporated the study into graffiti style art. Students work is presented on the front cover of their portfolios.
